Our client, a leading cybersecurity company based in London, is seeking an experienced Fractional Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to join their team. The company is at the forefront of cybersecurity innovation, providing cutting-edge solutions to protect businesses from evolving threats in a digital-first world.

As a Fractional CRO, you’ll be instrumental in driving revenue growth, building scalable sales strategies, and accelerating the company’s expansion in key markets.

 

Role and Responsibilities:

As the Fractional CRO, you will:

  • Lead the Revenue Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy focused on expanding the company's footprint in key markets, with an emphasis on cybersecurity solutions for enterprises.
  • Sales Leadership: Oversee the sales function, driving the creation and execution of sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Customer Segmentation & Acquisition: Identify new market opportunities and customer segments, ensuring a focused approach to lead generation and conversion.
  • Partnership Development: Foster strategic partnerships and alliances to support revenue growth and product expansion.
  • Optimize Revenue Operations: Align sales, marketing, and customer success teams to create a seamless customer experience and maximize revenue potential.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Use data and analytics to guide decision-making, ensuring measurable outcomes and continuous optimization of sales performance.
  • Mentorship and Team Development: Work with existing leadership and sales teams to enhance their performance and help them achieve their goals.

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience in Cybersecurity Sales: Proven track record of successfully leading revenue generation efforts within the cybersecurity industry, particularly selling solutions to enterprises.
  • Fractional/Consulting Experience: Ability to work in a part-time, fractional capacity (10-20 hours per week), providing focused and high-impact support to drive growth.
  • GTM Expertise: Strong background in Go-to-Market strategy development and execution, including market analysis, customer segmentation, and competitive positioning.
  • Sales Leadership: Previous experience leading sales teams and building scalable processes to achieve revenue targets.
  • Partnerships & Alliances: Experience building and managing strategic partnerships that support revenue growth and market penetration.
  • Analytical & Data-Driven: Comfortable using data and analytics to inform decisions and optimize strategies.
