Fractional CTO - SaaS Company (US)

Overview:

We're seeking an experienced Fractional CTO to provide strategic technology leadership to our growing SaaS company in the US. You'll work closely with our executive and development teams to drive innovation, optimize our technology infrastructure, and ensure our product aligns with market demands and company goals. This is a remote, part-time position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technology Strategy & Roadmap: Define and execute our technology strategy, aligning it with our business objectives. Create and manage a technology roadmap that outlines key milestones and initiatives.
  • Product Development: Oversee product development, ensuring quality, scalability, and timely delivery.Work with the development team to implement new features, improve existing functionality, and address technical debt.
  • Technology Infrastructure: Manage and optimize our cloud infrastructure for performance, security, and cost-effectiveness. Evaluate and implement new technologies as needed.
  • Team Leadership & Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to our development team.Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Technology Partnerships: Manage relationships with key technology partners and vendors. Evaluate and select new technologies and services.

Qualifications:

  • Proven Experience: 5+ years of experience as a CTO or in a senior technology leadership role at a SaaS company.
  • Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of modern software development practices, cloud infrastructure, and SaaS technologies.
  • Strategic Thinker: Ability to think strategically and translate business objectives into actionable technology initiatives.
  • Strong Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Results-Oriented: Proven track record of delivering results and driving technology innovation.

Location: Remote (US Time Zones)

Commitment: Part-Time (Flexible based on company needs)

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate or project-based compensation
